Extremely knowledgable guide Maciej arrived on time at our hotel in a clean vehicle with bottles of water provided. He gave a fantastic historical overview of Gdansk and then a moving and detailed account of the battle at Westerplatte. He speaks very good English and gave recommendations for local cuisine and dining. We would throughly recommend his tour and will use his service again.

We visited in December and had a tour with Maciej around the concentration camp, polish post office and westerplatte. Maciej had great knowledge and really took time with us explaining and sharing the history. We also had a lovely lunch which was of traditional polish food picked by Maciej. I would definitely recommend this tour. Due to the nature it’s not the easiest tour to do it’s very sad and really makes you think about the past but with an excellent tour guide was enjoyable and educational.

Maciej guided our tour of the old town of Gdansk in October 2015. We, a group of high school teachers, met Maciej at Tawerna Mestwin restaurant and listened to a short presentation about the local Kashubian ethnic minority and their cuisine. Afterwards we received a rich guided tour of the old town of Gdansk. It was nice to be guided in Norwegian and by someone who lived both in Poland and Norway. We highly recommend him to others.

In November, together with my employees we went to Gdansk. We had been to Poland several times and Gdansk seemed like a “regular” Polish city. We traveled from Norway on Wednesday after work and strolled a little in the city and visited the city’s shopping center. On Saturday we had agreed to have a otur of Gdansk with a Norwegian speaking guide. This changed our opinion of Gdansk and without a doubt we should have taken this historic tour earlier, so that we could have all the information with us on our own walks. The tour lasted 2 hours and peaked the entire Gdansk trip. Thank you very much for a wonderful round in Gdansk Maciej, the trip gave me a taste and we’ll be back :-)
