Cycling trip from Gdansk to Sopot, 2 hours, 15 km

Enjoy a bike trip to the most famous seaside resort in Poland – Sopot. We start from Gdansk Old Town. Along the way we visit a spectacular Gdansk football arena, a mysterious Nowy Port district, seaports and Westerplatte. Furthermore, we cycle along beautiful sandy beaches and pine forests. At the end we ride down the sea promenade in Sopot, which is the center of Poland’s riviera. PIT-STOP at the Gdansk pier is a must.

Gdansk is the cycling capital of Poland

Gdansk has the most developed network of cycling routes in Poland. From April to October, thousands of the inhabitants use bicycles as a daily means of transport. Many Polish tourists visiting the city bring the bicycles as an indispensable element of their equipment. Although we do not have a municipal rent-a-bike system, many hotels offer bicycles for their guests.

Most of the routes are flat. If it is not for the wind, the cycling is a pure pleasure. For those who prefer hilly rides, the routes of the Tricity Landscape park are recommended. This is a vast area of forest hills and valleys neighboring Gdańsk and Sopot from the west.

Get to know Gdansk and the area during a bike ride.

We provide bikes and helmets rental. Lunch or dinner reservations are available at selected routes. The price of a tour depends on a number of people in a group and a route. Feel free to contact me if you are also interested in a few day trip around the region.
